Samsung released their new mobile phone, Samsung S8300. Samsung S8300 is an Ultra Touch mobile phone with 3G wonder (HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE/GPRS), features an 8Mpix camera module with LED flash with AF, a 2.8″ WQVGA AMOLED screen touch screen, smile detection, face detection, and GeoTagging. Samsung S8300 supports DviX, XviD, H.263, H.264, WMV9 and MPEG4 video plus 30fps VGA video recording mode. Nokia N97 is a sleek new touch screen handset with HSDPA data access, a slide-out QWERTY keypad, and customizable widgets. It also have GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (including a stereo Bluetooth profile), and a whopping 32GB of on-board memory—plus a microSD memory slot, for a potential total of 48GB of storage. It will be released in 2009.

A whole slew of new Sony Walkman hit the New Zealand site, and we have the goods on them. The new models, called NWZ-E435, E436-NWZ and NWZ-E438 all sports 2-inch QVGA LCD display, FM tuner, codec support for MP3, AAC, WMA and files PCM linear, and a clock, an very small 8.5mm / 50g. The players will be available in 2GB, 4GB, or variations of 8 Go, with different color options for each model (except for NWZ-E438, which comes only in black). Apparently, the PGR play nice with Windows Media Player and iTunes, offering drag and drop files for management.
