At long last, a speaker dock that doesn’t have the “i” prefix in it to indicate it’s preference for the iPod family. The CVT Multimedia Center, however, caters to both iPods and iPhones with a fervor. It comes with a remote control that allows you to go through your stored tracks that are displayed on the blue LCD screen, but judging by my past experience with devices that have blue screens, staring at them for a wee bit too long stings the eyes. A whole slew of new Sony Walkman hit the New Zealand site, and we have the goods on them. The new models, called NWZ-E435, E436-NWZ and NWZ-E438 all sports 2-inch QVGA LCD display, FM tuner, codec support for MP3, AAC, WMA and files PCM linear, and a clock, an very small 8.5mm / 50g. The players will be available in 2GB, 4GB, or variations of 8 Go, with different color options for each model (except for NWZ-E438, which comes only in black). Apparently, the PGR play nice with Windows Media Player and iTunes, offering drag and drop files for management. No word yet on prices, regions, or release date, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for these sweet babies. [

The L19W861 starts’ em for $ 299 and is designed to double as a computer screen with 1440 x 900 resolution. The 26-inch L26W861 and 32-inch L32W861 both an exciting sport least 1366 x 768 resolution, but also compelling price to $ 499 and $ 599, respectively. All three screens offer HDMI, PC audio input and ATSC / Clear QAM tuners.
